Wyoming Protocol
The Wyoming integration connects external voice services to Home Assistant using a small protocol. This enables Assist to use a variety of local speech-to-text and text-to-speech systems, such as:
- Whisper
- Piper

To add the Wyoming Protocol integration to your Home Assistant instance, use this My button:
If the above My button doesn’t work, you can also perform the following steps manually:

Browse to your Home Assistant instance.

In the bottom right corner, select the Add Integration button.

From the list, select Wyoming Protocol.

Follow the instructions on screen to complete the setup.
